means a single color). You can vary the textures and even color intensity
or shades, just keep the same general color. Having the same color or
color group from head-to-toe makes you look slimmer than you really
are. Now that's a trick worth remembering! Look for long, vertical lines
and avoid horizontal lines unless they cross your body at your most
flattering points. Examples, if you are heavy in your thighs, avoid
color changes or vertical lines that cross your body at that point.
Let's talk color choices. Dark colors in non-shiny fabrics are the most slimming. Look for fabrics that don't cling
to the body. Choose flattering cuts that don't pull or bunch up. Think
all you can wear is black? Think again! For fall try out forest green,
deep plum or burgundy, the new very dark browns and of course navy or
deep aquamarine. Keep the monotone theme and add a splash of contrast
with a scarf near your face, after all, it is your best feature!
